March 4: Mars enters Cancer. The planet of action enters the cardinal sign of security and opposes transformative Pluto during the first week of March. Passions run deep and intense emotions spring to the surface. Discretion is the better part of valor in our relationships during the final weeks of the winter season.
March 7: New Moon in Pisces. This month’s New Moon closely conjoins transiting Uranus in Pisces signaling that change is in the air as outmoded structures clearly no longer serve our personal and collective needs. Yes, there certainly must be better ways and means to accomplish goals that are worth pursuing for all concerned.
March 12-14: Venus and Mercury enter Pisces. Vulnerability and compassion slowly return as Venus steps from the sign of the warrior into the sign of selfless service. This is a good time to make peace and mend fences after the fireworks of the Mars/Pluto opposition. Mercury will join Venus in Pisces on March 14 providing us with even more breathing room for our dreams and visions of a brighter tomorrow.
March 19-21: Spring Equinox Sun enters Aries. The spring season arrives with brilliance as the Sun and Moon wax to fullness forming a cardinal cross to transiting Pluto in Capricorn and Mars in Cancer. As we take our first breaths in this new season, we are acutely aware that our world has changed in recent months, and there is little resemblance between our lives now and one year ago.
