March 4:  Mars enters Cancer.  The planet of action enters the cardinal sign of security and opposes transformative Pluto during the first week of March. Passions run deep and intense emotions spring to the surface. Discretion is the better part of valor in our relationships during the final weeks of the winter season.

March 7:  New Moon in Pisces. This month’s New Moon closely conjoins transiting Uranus in Pisces signaling that change is in the air as outmoded structures clearly no longer serve our personal and collective needs.  Yes, there certainly must be better ways and means to accomplish goals that are worth pursuing for all concerned.

March 12-14:  Venus and Mercury enter Pisces.  Vulnerability and compassion slowly return as Venus steps from the sign of the warrior into the sign of selfless service. February 17:  Venus enters Aquarius.  Venus returns to Aquarius just as the Sun is about to leave the sign of fellowship and Mercury prepares to turn direct making for a two day shift in this month’s energies paving the way for the Lunar Eclipse.

February 18:  Mercury turns direct in Aquarius.  Our communications with others can now resume with fewer delays and less frustration especially those dependent upon on electronics as a bridge.

Thankfully, in these very complex times, we are able to transcend the usual roadblocks to understanding that many people struggle with. How can you foster this in yourself? It doesn’t come naturally. We are all conditioned to think in terms of ‘us’, and ‘them’. We are socialized to think of ‘us’ in familiar, friendly terms, and as ‘them’ as unknown, unfriendly, unfamiliar. This xenophobia is, unfortunately, a natural state for human beings, however, it is not only possible to transcend this natural tendency: we are obligated by virtue of our gifts to do so.

Here’s a suggested exercise that may help you to increase your level of empathy for other cultures:

1) Do some research. Pick a culture you know nothing about and familiarize yourself with it. Try celebrating one of their holy days, or meditating on one of their religious practices or deities.

2) Set aside some quiet time, and light a candle. Sit straight with your eyes closed and breathe deeply. First, imagine the edges of your body becoming softer, smudging, blending in with the air in the room around you. Imagine yourself as a collection of cells, and, as you become comfortable with this idea, imagine your own molecular structure. As you become aware of yourself as a collection of neutrons and protons, all spinning and moving as though they are planets in orbit, remind yourself that so it is with all things. At our core, at the very foundation of our being, we are made of the same stuff.

These basic exercises will expand your already compassionate nature to include those of other cultures and backgrounds. It will also help in increasing the accuracy of long distance readings, reinforcing as it does the idea that we are all connected regardless of where we live, what we believe, or what we practice.

We all possess free will to shape and sculpt our destinies in whatever way we choose. If you do not like your reading, take positive and determined steps to change it. There are a number of ways to do this.

Until we understand why these dreams come to us, they have the ability to unnerve the novice and long-term dream interpreter alike. I cured a broken heart by studying yoga. Finally the food, I had worked for several years in an Indian restaurant and when in London, it was the only food I could find to eat.

I work at a veterinarian’s clinic as a kennel assistant I and don’t make a lot of money. However, I knew that somehow I was going to make it there for my birthday. Many amazing events happened over the 8 months before that date. People gave me money, I got a raise and a bonus and a friend lent me the money for the air fare. Two weeks before the big date, I landed in Mumbai.

The highlight of the trip and why I told everyone I was going was to bathe an elephant, whatever happened before or after was icing on the cake. My visit was centered in the southern part of the country on the Arabian Sea and, for the most part, I stayed with families. Throughout the journey I met a wide variety of people—teachers, auto-rickshaw drivers, Marxists, Syrian Christians and Brahmin Hindus. I noticed that, even though I never brought up the subject, everyone had something to say about their own spirituality. Not only that but it was everywhere painted beautifully and garishly on semis, on fences, sides of buildings. Altars were in all homes and businesses—not all of them Hindu. Shrines to various Gods and Saints lined the highways. This atmosphere put me in the mood to believe in miracles and to trust my intuition.

The first elephant I met was a working one, he gave rides to tourists. He was delivered with his trainer to one of the homes I stayed at where some other guests had expressed interest in riding him. He seemed intelligent but bored and laconic, “Another westerner,” he seemed his attitude. But then I met the temple elephants I was to help bathe. They walked in single file down the tiny village’s one street on their way to the river. There were 7 of them, all orphans of varying ages. At the river, their mahouts (trainers) had them lie on their sides as they scrubbed them with coconut shells. They handed me a shell of my own and I jumped in there too. The one I was scrubbing was about ten years old. He sensed someone new, probably inexperienced, was there. He explored with his trunk and found my wrist and grasped it very gently but firmly, pulling me to his face. There he explored my head, arms, hair and jewelry. The entire time we looked each other in the eyes. He unstrapped my velcro river sandals and tried to get them off my feet. I stroked his huge head, scratching a bit behind the ears. All around me, trunks were reaching out to see who and what I was. One of them sprayed me with his trunk in an attempt to get my attention amid their trainers laughter. At the end, I suddenly noticed a group of tourists standing on the beach, wanting to do what I was doing but too intimidated by the sheer size of the animals. As they began to leave, my elephant friend took a few steps toward me as if to say, “I’ll go with her”. His trainer stopped him and chuckled.

I remember thinking to myself that my entire life has led up to this point and here I was 50 years old. I had no regrets, no wishes and no plans, all I had was the perfect moment and that made everything worthwhile.

The absolute most important thing to remember is to approach psychic ability or any divination tool with common sense. Remember that you are an outsider looking into another person’s life, but you are an outsider who can very strongly affect another’s life. With that in mind, be warm and approachable, and the counseling will become easier and more productive for you and your client. If you follow this logic and are a responsible reader then you will no doubt have more call backs and happier clients.

(c)-Is someone who will express information in a manner that is understood by the client. Vague readings are bad readings.

(E)-Is someone who will do all of this without intruding upon the free will of the client.

Remember that your developed abilities are a gift. Use them with reverence, and respect for yourself, and your clientelle.

August 13-14: Sun and Mercury in Leo oppose Neptune. We find ourselves challenged to be clear in our communications as both the Sun and Mercury oppose misty Neptune. This could serve as a good occasion to transcend thoughts and words by meditating to join with others on a more universal wavelength.

August 19: Mercury enters Virgo. Our thoughts become more focused as Mercury completes its stay in Leo and its opposition to Neptune by entering the precision oriented sign of Virgo. Mercury in Virgo provides us with a window of opportunity to attend to any details that may have slipped through the cracks during the past 10 days.

August 23: Sun enters Virgo. This year’s Virgo cycle begins innocently enough, but closer inspection indicates that there will be more happening than the normal routines of returning to school and work from our summer vacations. Virgo’s precise circuits will be subjected to multiple tests with two strongly aspected eclipses and Saturn’s return to this sign for the first time since 1978. Our work and how we offer our services could very well change within the next month. This very active Virgo cycle will also remind us to be conscious of our nutrition and health.

August 28: Total Lunar Eclipse. The Virgo cycle begins with its own fireworks display under a total Lunar Eclipse squaring Mars and Jupiter. The unique brilliance of this Full Moon is just the opening salvo in what promises to be a very dynamic four weeks of celestial activity. It’s a good time to remember that change is inevitable and that it could happen more quickly than we thought and in ways that we might not expect.

Shapeshifting was well known there, especially among the Celtic cultures.

There are many Celtic legends about the power of shapeshifters. They are all written as if the person practicing it had physically became another creature. Physically speaking, this doesn’t happen. The shamanic talent is to assume certain characteristics, traits and talents of the creature for a limited time.

Shapeshifting was not soley practiced by Druids. Ordinary people who were seeking a spiritual path practiced shapeshifting as well. It was a Celtic form of spirituality that did not, and still does not, require one to become a Druid.

To name a few legends in Ireland, stories of the great warrior Cuchulain are full of references to shamanic powers. Nowhere does it say that he trained as a Druid. Finn Mac Cumhail, who was raised by two Druidess, never became a Druid. He was another Irishman with powers of a shaman.

There are many people today who practice shamanism and shapeshifting. Imagine seeing through the keen eyes of the hawk for insight that will transcends time and space. Merging your being with the ever-shifting flow of water and tapping a well of creativity you never knew you had. Hear the messages on the wind, its possible when you know how to listen.

For me, it usually comes either when I’m getting ready to go on vacation, when I’m going a few miles an hour over the posted speed limit or when I’m just plain scared. For you, it might be something else; it probably is, however, the emotion if universal. Fear and anxiety are usually felt in the body as tightness in your chest, a sinking feeling in your stomach and worry in your heart. There is also a psychological component to these physical sensations that are brought about by worry, and when this part of us is tended to, the physical symptoms usually disappear quickly.

I remember reading a book a while back that said that fear is the anticipation that something is going to happen that we will not be able to control. The remedy is to have your mind come up with possible solutions that will help you feel prepared if the dreaded thing were to happen. You could get an alarm for your house if you fear a break-in, make sure you save a few dollars each week for a future day or call a loved one for advice and a listening ear when in need of reassurance. I agree with whoever said that the fear comes from feeling out of control and It is always prudent to plan ahead. However, sometimes a more immediate action is needed, at least for me it is.

A simple technique to rid yourself of this sort of worry is to imagine a warm, white protective light around you that is so bright that it’s blinding. I visualize it around my house and cats when I go away, around me and my car when I’m driving, and around my loved ones if I think they may be in a dangerous situation. The uses for this technique are endless and the most important idea to keep in mind is that the light is so bright and pure that it is blinding and makes you invisible to anyone or anything that might want to hurt you. There is some practicality to this notion. Science has been able to prove that on a molecular level, we are energy vibrating at a certain rate and that we attract to ourselves energy of a similar quality. With that in mind, if you visualize that you, your home or loved ones are surrounded by so much love and light they will literally be invisible to those people vibrating at a lower frequency who might want to cause you harm, you will block yourself from receiving negativity. Doing this exercise will give you an immediate feeling of protection and safety. An added benefit is that it will help you sleep better at night, especially if you do it before bedtime.

September 7: Pluto turns direct at 26 deg 18 min Sagittarius. Transformative Pluto moves forward after 5 months of retrograde in the pioneering sign of Sagittarius. This autumn, Pluto and Jupiter will be working closely together to ensure that our beliefs about the world have broadened sufficiently to embrace the many changes to come after Pluto enters Capricorn in January.

September 8: Venus turns direct at 16 deg 35 min Leo. The love that may have been elusive during the past six weeks now has an opportunity to reemerge as Venus steps forward in the sign of the heart. It’s not too late for a summer romance as 15 days still remain in the season.

September 11: Partial Solar Eclipse at 18 deg Virgo. The solar eclipse on September 11 will closely oppose Uranus, the planet of unexpected changes, and square expansive Jupiter in Sagittarius. New beginnings and unexpected changes are a foregone conclusion during the remainder of the Virgo cycle. Even the best laid plans are subject to revision as we step into the unpredictable currents of this significant lunation.

September 21: Mars in Gemini opposition Pluto in Sagittarius. The likelihood of an end of summer fireworks display is heightened as Mars and Pluto square off against the Sun. It’s one thing to be a spectator at a safe distance, and quite another to be in the arena where the action is taking place.

September 23: Autumn Equinox Sun enters Libra. The arrival of autumn with the Sun’s entry into Libra should bring a welcome sense of relief after all the activities and events of the last month of summer. The Libra cycle provides us with an opportunity to restore harmony and balance in ourselves and our relationships.

September 27: Mercury enters Scorpio. We think more deeply about what really matters to us and see below the surface in all our communications as Mercury passes through Scorpio.

September 28: Mars enters Cancer. The movement of Mars through Cancer will amplify the sensitive cores of our inner selves. Positive vulnerability can lead to deeper and more fulfilling relationships, while projections of unresolved feelings might distance us from those who bump into our tender buttons.
